The old Customs House in Venice (Dogana da Mer) is located at the entrance to Grand Canal. For centuries, sailing ships had to moor here and be customs inspected.

The Venice Customs House is located in the Dorsoduro District of Venice. The Arts Centre (Centro d'Arte Contemporanea de Punta della Dogana) is  located here.
