The Santa Maria della Salute Basilica (also called "La Salute") is located on a narrow strip of land on the Grand Canal, across from Piazza San Marco in Venice.  Visitors to the the city of Islands can enjoy an excellent view of the basilica from Piazzetta San Marco.
