Lido Island

The Island of Lido (Lido di Venezia) in Venice Italy is a long skinny island situated southeast of Venice proper.

Lido is Venice's playground.  It features parks, beaches and a casino (Casino Municipale).  It is also home to the Venice Film Festival and a popular tourist destination.
