The Riva Degli Schiavoni is the waterfront promenade in Venice Italy that runs from Palazzo Ducale (on Piazza San Marco) to the east.
This popular tourist area features many restaurants, cafes, shops and a number of tourist attractions.
From the historical Ponte della Paglia (Bridge), one can see the famous Bridge of Sighs which connects Piazza Ducale with another palace.
The Equestrian statue on Riva Degli Schiavoni is in commemoration of Victor Emmanuel.
